Over 30 years of working in the insurance industry, for some of the largest insurance and reinsurance companies in the world. Worked with complex application systems and variety of data sources to deliver major transformations, data warehouses, analysis.

As the lead data engineer, I designed and build an end-to-end solution using Databricks and medallion architecture to ingest insurance risk, premium and claim data. The result was a data warehouse for analysis, self-service, reporting with multiple dashboards.

I want to use my skills and experience for greater social good, at the same time take on challenges to improve myself and work with diverse people and nationalities on projects around the world. It is also an opportunity to work outside of my own industry to build connections and learn about the world, whilst exercise my passion for data in many aspects such as modelling, engineering, analysis, etc.
