I am writing to express my interest in volunteering with Solve for Good. I am a data science professional transitioning from a long and diverse career in telecom and IT, where I have worked across analytics, engineering, quality assurance, management, and product invention. I am nearing completion of a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Texas at Austin and have completed the MIT MicroMasters in Data Science.

My background includes building data-driven analytical systems, working with complex real-world datasets, and translating ambiguous problems into practical, defensible solutions. I am comfortable working with Python, SQL, statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling, and I continue to deepen my applied modeling skills through hands-on projects.

I am motivated to volunteer with Solve for Good because I want to contribute my skills to meaningful, mission-driven work while gaining hands-on experience in collaborative data science teams. I am particularly interested in projects involving machine learning, forecasting, and predictive analytics, where I can contribute reliably to data preparation, analysis, documentation, and insight generation while learning best practices under senior guidance.
