My name is John Morales and I am currently a part-time graduate student in mathematics and data science. Throughout my career, I have been able to successfully balance multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities in high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environments where technical proficiency is required. By undertaking a volunteer role in data science, I will be able to align my programming skills with this role to build optimal data-based solutions for meeting various types of data challenges.

I have applied in-depth knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence throughout my professional career and coursework, which is supported by my adept ability at problem-solving. In my current job, I am mainly responsible for extracting and analyzing large quantities of data to develop ad-hoc reports, detect irregularities, monitor trends, identify risks, build dashboards, and other forms of data visualization to communicate results and present recommendations to clients.
